Amb. James Ngango Presents Letters of Credence to His Serene Highness Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein

On Friday, 25th October 2024, Ambassador James Ngango, Rwanda’s new envoy to the Principality of Liechtenstein, presented his Letters of Credence to His Serene Highness Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein. The ceremony took place at Vaduz Castle.

During the presentation ceremony, Ambassador Ngango conveyed a message from HE. President Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda reaffirming Rwanda’s commitment to deepening diplomatic relations with the Principality of Liechtenstein and fostering cooperation between the two nations.

In their brief conversation, His Serene Highness emphasized on the good relations between the two countries, and the knowledge of the problems in the Great Lakes Region and the role that small States should have in the international arena, especially in terms of peace and security in the world.

His Serene Highness Hereditary Prince Alois also received the Letters of Credence of ten (10) other new Ambassadors authorizing them to represent their countries in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Prior to the ceremony, Ambassador Ngango presented copies of Letters of Credence to Ms. Elena Klien representing Hon. Ms. Dominique Hasler, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education, and Sport.  Their discussions centred on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including urban tourism and museums, education, and investment promotion.

This ceremony in Liechtenstein follows Ambassador’s presentation of Letters of Credence to the President of the Swiss Confederation on 11th June 2024.

As part of his diplomatic jurisdiction, Ambassador Ngango is also accredited to Austria, Slovenia, and The Holy See, where he will present his letters in a near future.
