UNCTAD TDB: Rwanda Participates in a Panel Discussion on Trade Digitalization

Rwanda participated in a panel discussion on “Trade Digitalization State of Play: Findings from the UN Trade Digitalization Index 2025/2026 and Implications,” held at UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The session presented the latest findings of the UN Trade Digitalization Index (TDI+) 2025/2026, which identified Rwanda as a leading performer in sub-Saharan Africa, with an implementation score above 80 per cent.

Rwanda shared its experience in digitalizing trade processes, highlighting institutional coordination, inclusion and sustainability, as well as ongoing efforts to strengthen cross-border interoperability. Rwanda emphasized that digitalization should make trade easier, more predictable and accessible.
