Rwanda Co-Hosts High-Level Side Event on Antimalarial Drug Resistance at WHA78
On the margins of the 78th World Health Assembly (#WHA78), Rwanda joined Eritrea, Ethiopia, Namibia, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia in co-hosting a high-level side event focused on tackling antimalarial drug resistance in Africa.
The event was organized in collaboration with Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, Medicines for Malaria Venture and Roll Back Malaria Partnership to End Malaria.
Discussions focused on strengthening surveillance systems, advancing innovation, and enhancing coordinated action to address antimalarial drug resistance across the continent.
