Rwanda and UNIDO Discuss Sustainable Industrial Infrastructure Development

On the margins of the 70th IAEA General Conference, Rwanda’s Minister of State for Infrastructure, Armand Zingiro, and Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa, Rwanda’s Permanent Representative to UNIDO, met with Fatou Haidara, Deputy to the Director General of UNIDO and the Director General’s Special Representative for Africa.

Discussions focused on integrated industrial infrastructure ecosystems, UNIDO’s Strategic Economic and Industrial Corridors Strategy, the Rwanda–UNIDO Programme for Country Partnership (PCP), and the promotion of sustainable industrial infrastructure development.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review these areas of cooperation and explore their contribution to Rwanda’s industrial development priorities.
