Rwanda and Switzerland Strengthen Exchanges on Health and Life Sciences

Rwanda and Switzerland held an exchange on health and life sciences at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Allschwil, bringing together representatives from both countries to explore opportunities for deeper cooperation.

The discussions focused on the health and life-science ecosystem and workforce development, with exchanges on opportunities to strengthen partnerships between Rwanda and Switzerland in these areas.

Rwanda's delegation was led by Minister of Health Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana, accompanied by Juliana Muganza, Deputy CEO of the Rwanda Development Board and Edmond Tubanambazi, First Counsellor at the Embassy, alongside Swiss partners.

Minister Nsanzimana contributed to the discussion on the health and life-science ecosystem, highlighting Rwanda’s priorities and opportunities for strengthened collaboration with Swiss institutions and partners.

The exchange provided an opportunity to further connect Rwanda’s growing health and life-sciences sector with Switzerland’s expertise and ecosystem and to identify avenues for continued cooperation.
