HRC62: Rwanda's Statement during the Interactive Dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in Burundi

The false allegations on Rwanda by the Ambassador of Burundi should be dismissed. Burundi must focus its efforts on improving its human rights situation rather than scapegoating a neighbouring country.

It is particularly troubling that a state currently holding the rotational chairmanship of the African Union is engaging in armed conflict in the DRC, instead of exercising leadership and responsibility that this role requires.

Je vous remercie, Monsieur le vice Président.
