Embassy Joins Partners and Friends of Rwanda at Sangira Gala Dinner in Zurich
In Zurich, the Embassy of Rwanda in Switzerland took part in the Sangira Gala Dinner, which brought together partners committed to advancing skills development and expanding opportunities for youth in Rwanda. The event was organized by Sangira, a Swiss-based organization, in collaboration with Lions Clubs International Switzerland.
In her remarks, Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa commended Sangira’s role in strengthening Swiss–Rwanda cooperation through expert exchanges, mutual learning, and practical partnerships. She also welcomed its collaboration with a TVET-accredited training centre in Nyamasheke District delivering professional training programmes.
With over 700 graduates across seven cohorts, the initiative is creating concrete pathways to employment for Rwandan youth in the service sector.
