Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa Presents Letters of Credence to the President of Slovenia

Ljubljana, 15 June 2026 – Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa, Rwanda’s Envoy to Slovenia, presented her Letters of Credence to H.E. Nataša Pirc Musar, President of the Republic of Slovenia, at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana.

The audience reaffirmed the strong and growing partnership between Rwanda and Slovenia and the shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation.

President Pirc Musar commended Rwanda’s progress and welcomed continued engagement between the two countries. Discussions reflected the mutual interest of Rwanda and Slovenia in deepening economic and commercial cooperation and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

Slovenia, in turn, offers valuable opportunities for cooperation in areas such as the circular economy, emerging technologies, machinery and innovation.

The discussions also welcomed ongoing efforts to strengthen the framework for cooperation between Rwanda and Slovenia and to facilitate deeper economic engagement and exchanges between the two countries.

The presentation of Letters of Credence followed a series of engagements in Slovenia aimed at advancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Rwanda and Slovenia maintain a growing partnership rooted in mutual respect, resilience and multilateral cooperation.
