Required documents to apply for Rwandan Nationality

1.    A birth certificate; 
2.    Marriage record issued by Rwandan Civil registrar proving that the couple has been in a marriage   for at least five years;
3.    Certificate that he / she has not been sentenced to six months' imprisonment (criminal record);
4.    Certificate of shared common marital life, ethics and good conduct issued by Executive Secretary of the Cell or the Rwandan Embassy depending on where he /she resides; 
5.    A copy of passport and foreigner’s identity card if he/she resides in Rwanda / residence permit;
6.    Refugee’s identity card (if applicable)
7.    Copy of identity card for the Rwandan spouse on the day of marriage or any other justification of his / her Rwandan nationality and copy of identity cards of three Rwandans who known him / her (preferably his/her close relatives when available) and a brief commitment note where those ID holders on each copy indicating their address, profession, telephone number, their relationship with Rwandan spouse and signature
8.    Detailed CVs of both spouses; 
9.    Interview with Rwandan spouse
10.    Birth certificates of children under 18 years of age at the time of application borne to foreign spouse only and not holding Rwandan nationality (if applicable)
11.    Payment slip of 10 000Frw or its equivalent non-refundable paid to RRA. 
12.    One recently taken colored passport photos with white background. 
13.    Fill online application form.
